Here are some important safety tips and guidelines to help domestic helpers work confidently and responsibly in households with animals.
1. Start with a proper introduction
Just like people, pets can be sensitive to change and unfamiliar faces. Help ease the transition by introducing your domestic helper to your pets gradually. During the first meeting:
- Keep dogs on a leash
- Let cats approach at their own pace
